1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TomeWorld ("the Service"), available at https://tomeworld.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you must not use the Service.

Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

TomeWorld is a free, fan-made army list builder for Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition. The Service allows users to create, manage, and export army lists for personal use.

TomeWorld is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially associated with Games Workshop Limited or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.

The Service is provided at no cost and is operated as a personal, non-commercial fan project.

3. Games Workshop Intellectual Property

Warhammer 40,000, the Warhammer 40,000 logo, and all associated names, logos, images, factions, unit names, characters, illustrations, race insignia, and related content are either ® or ™, and/or © Games Workshop Limited, variably registered around the world. All rights reserved.

TomeWorld is an unofficial, fan-made tool created for personal, non-commercial use only. All Games Workshop intellectual property remains the sole property of Games Workshop Limited.

This tool references publicly available game data — including unit names, faction keywords, and points values — solely for the purpose of facilitating army list building by hobbyists. No challenge to the ownership or validity of any Games Workshop trademark or copyright is intended or implied.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to the following:

You may only create and maintain one account per person.
You must provide a valid email address.
Your password must be at least 6 characters in length.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

5. User Content

Army lists and other content you create using the Service ("User Content") belong to you. We claim no ownership over your User Content.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You may export or delete your data at any time. Upon account deletion, your User Content will be permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Abuse, harass, or harm other users or the operator of the Service.
Engage in automated scraping, data mining, crawling, or any other automated access to the Service without prior written permission.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other user accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Game data, including points values, unit stats, faction rules, or any other game-related information, is accurate, complete, or up to date.
Any errors or defects in the Service will be corrected.

You acknowledge that game rules and data may change at any time and that TomeWorld may not immediately reflect such changes. Always verify army lists against official Games Workshop publications.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR OF THE SERVICE, OR ANY OF ITS CONTRIBUTORS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

THIS IS A FREE SERVICE. THE MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE OPERATOR FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO $0 (ZERO DOLLARS).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the operator of TomeWorld and any contributors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

10. Account Termination

Conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
